World Population Day is celebrated every year on 11 July
In this year (2022) theme is “A World of 8 billion: Towards a resilient future for all-Harnessing opportunities and ensuring rights and choices for all”
"Either we reduce The World's Population voluntarily or Nature will do this for us. But brutal"
When there are more people than resources, overpopulation can have numerous psychological effects on both individuals and communities.
"One of the most serious challenges to Human destiny in the last third of this century will be the growth of the population"
Stress can be caused by overcrowding, resulting in a rise in mental illness and depression.
And as long as humans keep reproducing like rabbits, then psychological effects are bound to become more prevalent.
"I believe that human overpopulation is the fundamental problem on earth today and we humans have become a Disease, the Human Pox"
-David Foremen
"Real problem is not population explosion, but what the population is doing"
